On the evening of November 7, the opening ceremony of “Shunde, City of Gastronomy”---2020 Shunde (Shunde Holding Group) Gourmet Culture Week was held at the Shunde OCT Harbour PLUS.
Over the weekends of November 6-8, November 13-15 and November 20-22, the 9-day Shunde Gourmet Culture Week is about to create the longest gourmet culture feast in 15 years through the online and offline integration.
At the opening ceremony, Shunde Government and Alibaba signed an initiative on the cooperation framework of the City of Gastronomy. During the 2020 Gourmet Culture Week, Shunde and Alibaba Local Life Service Company will jointly hold an online gourmet festival, gourmet live broadcast recommendations and other special activities for citizens to enjoy Shunde gourmet food at home. In the future, they will also carry out more in-depth industrial cooperation to create an everlasting online Shunde Gourmet Festival.
Cored with “Gourmet Brand Zone”, Shunde Fisherman’s Wharf adds more creative elements to the 2020 Shunde Gourmet Culture Week by adhering to the splendid tradition of Shunde Gourmet Festival and giving full play to the brand advantages of the City of Gastronomy.
It is worth mentioning that the Guangdong Eel Brand Promotion Activity particularly held during the Gourmet Culture Week gathers various eel restaurants to provide a variety of local eel cuisine, showing the charm of Shunde as the “Hometown of Eel”. Citizens can enjoy dozens of eel delicacies, including Japanese grilled eel, grilled frozen eel, roasted eel, etc.
