On November 9, Shenzhen Han’s Robot Co., Ltd. purchased a plot of land in the core area of Foshan Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster (Sanlongwan) for 214.37 million yuan, which will go to build the Han’s Robot Advanced Manufacturing Agglomeration Demonstration Park Project.
The project, covering an area of 150,340 square meters with a planned construction area of 600,000 square meters and a total investment of 2 billion yuan, includes a global robot headquarters, a robot R&D and incubation base, and an advanced manufacturing agglomeration demonstration zone in the Shunde area of Sanlongwan.
Shenzhen Han’s Robot Co., Ltd., founded in September 2017 and located in the High-tech Industrial Park in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, is a high-tech enterprise incubated on the basis of a team of more than 100 people from Han’s Electric Motor Robot Research Institute, and committed to the research, development, promotion and application of intelligent robots in industry, medical care, logistics, service and other fields.
Under the background of the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen’s reform and opening-up, Shunde unswervingly embraces Shenzhen in an all-round way, strengthens the docking with Shenzhen, and strives to achieve “Shenzhen innovation + Shunde intellectual manufacturing”. The successful settlement of the project will further promote the docking of Shunde intelligent manufacturing with Shenzhen innovation.
It’s introduced that in the future, the project cored with the Han’s Global Robot Headquarters will attract over 20 upstream and downstream enterprises in Shenzhen industry chain to gather and develop in Shunde, cultivating industrial advantages.
At present, by relying on Bright Dream Robotics, Midea’s Kuka and other leading enterprises, Foshan Shunde Robot Valley and the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing International Cooperation Demonstration Zone have been planned and built in the Shunde area of Sanlongwan where the agglomeration effect of the robot industry is emerging.
Nowadays, with the help of Sanlongwan headquarters economic policies and the trend of rural reconstruction in Shunde, the Shunde area of Sanlongwan has proposed to build “the engine of the Greater Bay Area, the new core of Guangzhou and Foshan” to cultivate a headquarters cluster of emerging industries in Shunde by speeding up the promotion of the settlement of major industrial projects.
