On November 10, the 2020 Foshan Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster (hereinafter referred to as Sanlongwan) Investment Promotion Conference (Shenzhen) organized by the Management Committee of Foshan Sino-German Industrial Services Zone (Sanlongwan) was held in Shenzhen for the first time.

  

  

“Made in Foshan, Sino-German alliance, hometown affection, liveliness, green city, attractiveness, suitability,” Liu Yi, Director of the Management Committee of Sanlongwan Innovation Cluster, connected several personalized features of Sanlongwan as Foshan’s new namecard with 7 keywords, showing a charming Sanlongwan to the audience at the promotion conference.

  

  

As a new urban area with the best regional location, industrial foundation, and planned positioning in Foshan, Sanlongwan has recently held investment promotion conferences in Guangzhou and Shenzhen successively. Unlike the Guangzhou conference which focused on building and disseminating the city image of Sanlongwan, the conference in Shenzhen paid more attention to the industrial docking, and some Shenzhen enterprises have conducted preliminary communications with Foshan enterprises on site.

As a well-known industrial city, Foshan is undergoing a transition from an industrial city to a powerful innovative city. In September this year, Foshan proposed to build Sanlongwan into a leading platform and forefront for Foshan to promote the construction of “One core, One belt, One zone”, lead the rapid development of the “1st Ring Expressway Innovation Circle”, and speed up the integration into the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong and Guangzhou-Zhuhai-Macao Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, which will contribute Foshan’s strength to the construction of the international scientific and technological innovation center in the Greater Bay Area.

Shenzhen, the first special economic zone established under China’s reform and opening-up policy, acts as the window of China’s reform and opening up, and Foshan is also the forerunner of China’s reform and opening-up. In order to lead Foshan, Sanlongwan must cooperate with Shenzhen enterprises.
