From November 19 to 21, themed with “Invention and Innovation, Mutual Benefit and Win-win Cooperation”, the 24th National Exhibition of Inventions - Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technology Innovation Competition will be held at Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

 

    

  

The organizers revealed that the 24th National Exhibition of Inventions has set up industry exhibition areas such as high-end equipment manufacturing exhibition area, energy saving and environmental protection exhibition area, biomedicine exhibition area, intelligent home furnishing exhibition area, etc., as well as teenage invention and innovation exhibition area, and exhibition area of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. A number of featured exhibition areas have attracted the participation of well-known enterprises such as Angang Group, Zoomlion, Tencent Cloud Computing, and famous universities such as Tsinghua University and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. 

  

The current data shows that 822 enterprises have confirmed to participate in the exhibition with 2,051 exhibited projects, of which the physical participation rate of Hall 3 is expected to reach 75%.

  

  

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition has set up a special area to showcase the achievements of “Technology for Poverty Alleviation”, and a special area for the development of intangible cultural heritage intelligence and innovation. Zhashui fungus, sericulture industrialization and other scientific and technological poverty alleviation projects, Hangzhou textile, Dehua white porcelain, Luoshan shadow puppets, Foshan lion dance, Gambiered Guangdong Silk, paper-cuts and other intangible cultural heritage products will be exhibited. 

  

  

  

Apart from the rich exhibits, the activities of the 24th National Exhibition of Inventions are also stimulating. This year, the organizers has cooperated with the BRICS Business Council again to hold the Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technology Innovation Competition, which will create an international and domestic development platform for high-skilled talents from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area by organizing professional competitions in the fields of industrial robot, unmanned aerial vehicle, machine learning and big data.

  

Foshan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone will continue to undertake the 2020 Tech Express (Foshan Station - Intelligent Manufacturing), presenting a high-level supply-demand docking conference during the exhibition.

  

In the past three months, Foshan High-tech Zone has successively carried out accurate docking with domestic and foreign high-level scientific and technological achievements in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing, to meet the local technological demands, In addition, it has brought a number of advanced technological resources back to Foshan to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and facilitate the intelligent upgrading of Foshan industries and the high-quality development of the High-tech Zone through theme sharing, project roadshows, technological docking and other methods.
