Recently, the latest planning of Nanhai Arts Center Area was unveiled, including the planning of surrounding areas along Guangzhou Metro Line 28, and the construction of large theaters and museums, etc.

Nanhai Arts Center Area, covering a total area of about 697,600 square meters, located in the core area of the central axis of Nanhai District and the "Golden Corridor" between Guangzhou and Foshan, is an urban core area integrating financial services, cultural recreation, high-end business, public facilities and other functions altogether.

In terms of regional urban design, in order to better promote the construction of the Area, the in-depth and high-standard urban design of Nanhai Arts Center Area will be carried out. 

Based on the basic demands for improving ground transportation, Nanhai Arts Center plans to build a composite underground integrated space of transportation, business, parking, public services, underground utility tunnel and comprehensive disaster prevention by taking the underground railway station as the core and the urban public green landscapes as the corridor.

In addition, the construction of the Nanhai Arts Center includes large theaters (including concert halls), small and medium-sized convention and exhibition centers (mainly for modern and production service industry), museums (comprehensive first-class museums) and sports centers, covering a total planned construction area of 123,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 1.48 billion yuan.

The construction of Nanhai Arts Center Area Project is accelerating, which will bring vitality to develop a new Nanhai with the high-quality integration of urban and rural areas.
