On January 9, the 2020-2021 Chinese Clothing Culture Appreciation Week and Lingnan Qipao Tryouts kicked off in Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, Foshan, which has attracted many traditional Chinese culture enthusiasts.

The person in charge of the event revealed that it is divided into three sections to show the unique charm of Foshan women in the new era and expand the influence of traditional Chinese culture in the form of Qipao show, clothing exhibition, jewelry exhibition, ceramic art exhibition, etc.

This event is not only a display of Foshan and Lingnan style traditional clothing, but also an attitude to appreciate, pursue and spread the beauty of life in Foshan.

The subsequent salon with the theme of "the Beauty of Chinese and Lingnan Traditional Clothing" has comprehensively appreciated and analyzed the development and charm of Chinese and Lingnan style clothing. At the opening ceremony, four Chinese folk music performers presented a live music show with unique Chinese features to the audience on site.

It is reported that the Chinese Clothing Culture Appreciation Week will display traditional Chinese clothing with various features, including the colorful clothes presenting centennial prosperity, the Qipao that accentuates the female form, the new Chinese aesthetic Gambiered Guangdong Silk made in Foshan, as well as the national intangible cultural heritage Yi clothing of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, which is the poverty alleviation counterpart area of Foshan.
