Over the last few days, nucleic acid testing was carried out in Foshan. Many heart-warming scenes that happened in testing sites have shown Foshan is a city with warmth and a great sense of responsibility.

On May 28th, to encourgea girl who was too afraid to get tested at a testing point in Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, Nurse Xu Hong, made a balloon out of a disposable medical glove and the girl therefore finally received the test.

At the night of May 28th, 500 medical workers from Foshan Hospital of TCM were marshaled and ready to work the whole night.

A sleepless night in Nanhai District

Many testing points were put together in Nanhai District on the night of May 27th under the concerted efforts of all parties. Medical workers gathered in a short time and citizens lined up for testing orderly.

On May 29th, after finishing the testing under the burning sun, medical workers from Foshan Women and Children Hospital found that their clothes in the protective suits were soaked with sweats.

In order to shorten waiting time for citizens to get tested and receive result, workers from Foshan No.4 Peoples Hospital worked overtime.

Holding up strong in storm

On the afternoon of May 29th, a heavy rain fell unexpectedly. Urban management officers were reinforcing the waterproofing facility.

Sanitation workers and gardeners were cleaning the water in the shed.

Citizens saying "thanks" in their own ways

Two children who came to get tested for COVID-19 gave a salute to nurses and said, “Thank you aunties!”

A child asked his parent to send a picture he drew to the medical workers to express his gratitude.

Neighboring shopkeepers gave drinks to medical workers and volunteers.

In the battle against COVID-19, 

nothing will stop Foshan and its people.
