On June 8, Foshan reported no new local confirmed case. The nucleic acid tests for all residents of Foshan have been finished with 10.0245 million samples collected. All the results were negative.

  

On June 8, 7 new local cases were confirmed in Guangzhou. Guangzhou also reported another local case that was previously asymptomatic.

  

As of 24:00 on June 7, Zhaoqing has reported 1 confirmed COVID-19 case imported from Cameroon that was previously asymptomatic. 6 asymptomatic cases from overseas have been reported, with 3 in Guangzhou (2 from Cambodia and 1 from UAE), 1 in Shenzhen (from Nigeria) and 2 in Foshan (from the US). Two patients were discharged on June 8.

   

By 24:00 on June 8, Guangdong has reported a total of 2573 confirmed COVID-19 cases (with 1056 imported cases). Currently there are 164 patients in hospital.
