Recently, Jingzao Line located in Yanghe Town, Gaoming District has been included in "Top 10 Most Beautiful Highways" in Guangdong Province. The highway, spanning across "Foshan No.1 Mountain" (Zaomu Mountain Scenic Area), links together all of the gorgeous spots along the way.

Y651 Jingzao Line, a highway in Gaoming District, with a total length of 5.89 kilometers, connects Zaomu Mountain, a national 4A scenic spot and home to several villages, including Jintou Village, Shikan Village, Hengkeng Village and Kengmei Village.

As the upgrading and reconstruction project was wrapped up in March, Jingzao Line has been updated with the functions of both tourism and transportation.

The renewal of the road

Previously, since the width of Jinzao Line was merely 3 meters, lots of accidents occurred. For example, traffic jam was often caused only by the meeting of cars; when rainy season comes, torrential flood destroyed roads frequently, cutting off the way out for residents nearby and the way in for visitors to Zaomu Mountain.

However, after the upgrading, Jinzao Line is paved with asphalt and cement, with its roadbed widened to 10 meters and the pavement, 7.5 meters. Not only road signs and security facilities, but also lights and green plants are equipped on this road. Besides, more leisure facilities were added, including a sightseeing road, green road, bicycle road and service zone, to meet various needs of both tourists and residents.

The natural beauty of the road

Along the road, people can visit many leisure zones, such as Rainbow Bridge in Shikan Village, platforms on the water in Hengkeng Village and a sightseeing terrace in Kengmei Village.

Beside the highway, there is a colorful bicycle road, decorated with trees and flowers.

Taking the bike, one can do the exercise in the beautiful landscape.

The rural revitalization by the road

Over 5,000 villagers nearby have been benefited. The road is more accessible to visitors who are attracted by the natural beautiful scenery here. In this case, rural tourism has been boosted the economy.

As the Jinzao Line was put into use, a project with a planned investment of 1 billion yuan will also land on Dabu Village along the road with an estimated yearly output of 2 billion yuan, providing R&D center of logistics service and about 5000 jobs.

Visitors can also have fun at farm house and tourist distributing center where food, cultural products, souvenirs and books are provided. With more visitors coming over, the sale of agricultural products, like sugarcane, bananas and dragon fruits, planted in those village has soared.

Now, Jingzao Line has already been on a fast track to wealth.
