Most recently, "Partnership Agreement on Tencent Cloud Innovation Center (Shunde)" was signed by Administration at Shunde Park of Foshan National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone [hereinafter referred to as "Foshan Hi-tech Zone", Shunde Bureau for Economic Promotion, and Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd.] As the agreement was signed, a regional Tencent Cloud Innovation Center will settle at Equipment Manufacturing Park, as an essential part to Foshan Hi-tech Zone (Shunde).

Currently, preparatory works, like site decoration, operator attraction, are being carried out to ensure opening at the end of August.

Reportedly, Tencent Cloud Innovation Center (Shunde) broke new grounds as being the first district-level hub for cloud technology, thanks to a close cooperation between Peoples Government of Shunde and Tencent.

With a solid foundation in manufacturing, Shunde has taken prompt measures to embrace digital economy, mainly by integrating local manufacturing and the latest information technologies. On the Tencent end, it lives up to its reputation as one of the leading providers for Internet services in China.

Shunde and Tencent are in tune for win-win benefits. Last November, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Huagui Garden Hotel, with targeted efforts in an ecosystem of IT industry, inclusive finance and business environment. The biggest highlights would be Tencent Cloud Innovation Center (Shunde). 

On the design level, Tencent Cloud Innovation Center (Shunde) will be built with a total area of 4,000 square meters, as delivered in two phases. The project takes on a mission to synergize more capitals, technologies, supporting industries to facilitate digital upgrading in Shunde. Tencent will also have a lot to offer in industrial consulting and  talent training, as a way to breed more exciting opportunities locally in artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and so on.
