Foshan Macao City to be launched soon
The Macao City in Guicheng, Nanhai has gained further progress. At present, the Investment Promotion Center and the You’an Museum (Preparatory Office) in the City have been completed and put into use, and more theme buildings have been capped successively. The project is expected to conduct trial operation inJuly 2022 with orderly progress.
Landed in Wenhan Lake Area of Guicheng at the end of 2019, Macao City is the first commercial block with “Macao” as the theme in Nanhai. It is also a tribute to the 20th anniversary of Macaos return to China. The total investment of the first phase of the project is about 1.5 billion yuan and it has a total commercial area of about 120,000 square meters.
Building a beautiful town with "Macao" style and gathering a number of technological, innovative and cultural industries, Macao City will provide a good business environment for Macao entrepreneurs and operators and offer a new place to sightseeing, entertainment and businesses.
Convenient transportation and a high-tech industrial cluster
Located in the core area of Wenhan Lake area in Guicheng, Macao City enjoys a geographical advantage. Many high-tech industries such as Jihua Laboratory, JOYY Group Industrial Internet Headquarters and Huya Headquarters Base gather within 3 kilometers of the Macao City, which will bring more than 60,000 high-quality talents to the area.
As a commercial block of the core area of Wenhan Lake area, the Macao City will jointly build with local businesses in Macao to plan five forms of business, including beauty retail, Chinese-Portuguese characteristic catering, cultural and creative entertainment, bar and entertainment and living facilities, to fill the living facilities of the area.
Over 200 sites to showcase Macao architectural styles
Macao City will draw on the essence of 12 famous scenic spots in Macao to build over 12 attractions. In the future, more local brands of Macao will settle in Macao City, and tell their own stories related to Macao and Cantonese culture through different forms, which will give the block a richer cultural connotation, and attract more people to experience Macao culture.
