Foshan has 3 featured towns selected as the top 50 in China, outnumbering all other cities in Guangdong.
The listing was evaluated based on overall planning, positioning and assessments on performance, and the index system spans three aspects - livability, employment and tourism, including a total of 19 specific indicators.
The top 50 towns were selected from 10 provinces and autonomous regions in China. Among them, Zumiao Wenhui Coummunity in Chancheng (Lingnan Culture), Daliang Town in Shunde (Food) and Baini Cultural and Creative Ancient Town in Sanshui.
Zumiao Wenhui Coummunity in Chancheng ranked 5th on the list with an index of 84.08.

At present, Zumiao Wenhui Coummunity in Chancheng has been designated as a key area in Foshan’s blueprint of upgrading its cityscape. Since the end of 2018, there have been 26 key projects under construction, with a total investment of over RMB 10.5 billion, aiming to bring new vitality to historic blocks and give a strong boost to modern commerce at the same time.
Daliang Town in Shunde and Baini Cultural and Creative Ancient Town in Sanshui ranked 13th and 29th respectively with indices of 82.86 and 80.86. Analyzed from the three major indicators, Dailiang Town performs better in terms of "tourism". Baini Town has balanced performance in three major indicators.
