On May 10, Lecong Steel World Greater Bay Area Metal Industry Expo (hereafter referred as to "GMIE") kicked off in Lecong, Shunde. With an exhibition area of over 20,000 square meters and more than 300 exhibitors, GMIE shows the lasted development trend of the whole industry chain.
Exhibitors from Greater Bay Area display their brands and products, covering steel materials, stainless steel products, metal processing equipment, valve fittings, fire control equipment, hardware, and other metal products.
"There are over 30 million tons of iron and steel traded in Lecong annually, giving Lecong the top reputation in China and even world metal industry," said Huang Dao, Deputy Secretary-General of China Iron and Steel Association. He believes that GMIE will gather more resources to promote the green, integrated, and high-quality development of the domestic metal industry.
Recently, Lecong has been striving to build a mature global metal industry chain, reducing the procurement and logistics costs for manufacturers from home appliances, machinery, and auto parts industries. Relying on its industrial advantages, GMIE will link relevant resources to build a platform for industry cooperation, product display and technology innovation.
