This annual cultural feast has been popular since the Ming and Qing Dynasties and continues to this day. This is also a continuation of Dali's efforts to activate traditional cultural energy and promote high-quality development, led by cultural economics.Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Dali has always had the custom of celebrating the Chinese New Year with lion dances, which have been passed down through generations and remain very popular. In 2006, the lion dance in Dali was included in the first batch of national and Guangdong provincial intangible cultural heritage lists. In 2012, the Dali Lions Association was also included in the Nanhai District intangible cultural heritage list. Among them, the Dali Zhonglian Huang Feihong Martial Arts Dragon and Lion Association has been working hard for many years, representing the country to win more than 40 international competition championships and over 50 national-level championships, earning the title of "World Lion Dance King".At this year's Yanbu Dragon and Lion Dance Festival, a series of wonderful performances from the Guangzhou-Foshan area were staged, which were thrilling and drew continuous applause from the audience on-site, as well as many positive comments from viewers watching the live broadcast online. In recent years, Dali Town has deeply carried out a series of activities under the collaboration between arts and enterprises.
